Orbital ATK is currently seeking an experienced Sr. Manager, Mission Assurance Engineering (NDT Operations Manager) to provide leadership to our Nondestructive Testing team in our Promontory office.
Role description & Responsibilities:
The NDT Operations Manager is responsible to:
Lead a team of skilled professionals in ensuring product quality
Recruit, train and mentor the next generation of NDT professionals
Develop new inspection techniques for current and future products
Execution excellence of daily activities for multi-shift operations
Be the face of NDT for all Programs from SLS and D5 to R&D and Advanced Systems
Job Duties:
Ensure safe execution of hazardous operations to AHOPS, SA-22 and other requirements
Manage NDT facilities ensuring Building Owner duties for live facilities and x-ray processes are meticulously carried out. Processes include five owned facilities plus shared facilities at Promontory and CRC.
Prepare presentations and technical works for OSCB/PPCB, Program Management, Change Boards, and Senior Management.
Manage NDT certification compliance to NAS-410
Oversees and approves supplier NDT work and contract NDT work at KSC
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor degree in engineering or physics
Minimum of 9 yrs experience of increasing responsibility in mfg, quality, and/or design
Four or more years in leadership in S&MA, manufacturing operations, engineering, project/systems engineering and/or program management
Demonstrated ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and with internal and external customers
Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to coach, develop and mentor others
Ability to drive change through creating, sustaining and improving standards and procedures
Ability to acquire a Secret security clearance required.
Excellent written communication and presentation skills.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Detail oriented but able to understand the big picture.
Broad understanding of Orbital ATK policies and procedures.
Preferred Requirements :
Advanced degree in engineering or physics
Working knowledge of NDT Methods, Change Management processes and quality procedures.
Strong knowledge of data analysis and corrective action methods

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
